1. Accessing and Generating Reports
Reports can be generated in Reports section accessible through the Menu bar or through the Quick Access menu.
The parameters available for generating specific set of data differ by report. In some reports the output is given as a PDF file or a zipped file but in most reports the output is a table which can be exported in excel format.
Step to be followed
o Select the report parameters on the page
o Select the From Date and To date: Select from date and to date by select calendar. To date can not be less then from date and from date not allowed before your company boarding date
o Type of employee - Active / Resigned - It is another parameter in some reports which allows you to create report for only active employee or with resigned employees. Active employees are those employees who are currently with the company and Resigned are those who are no longer with the company
o If you want to filter the report by some criteria you can use the filters on the top of the column, if you use Export to Excel after filtering a report only the filtered data will be exported
Once you complete all parameter which visible on screen, press on "Generate Report" button. On click "Generate Report" you can see your output on your screen. if you want this detail in soft copy then click on "Export to Excel".
2. Saving Favorite Reports
To save a report as your favorite just click on the star icon which is visible on the top of the report or on the report summary page as shown below
The report will be saved as your favorite and can be accessed from your Dashboard from Favorite Reports widget.
3. Customizing Reports
In some reports the option to add more columns is available through customization option. The option is visible as a gear icon as shown below.
If you have multiple companies then you will have to first select the company for which you want to customize the report.
After selecting the company you can select the additional fields you want to include.
First select the group and then you can use the + icon to add the column in the report table.
Note : In case of multiple companies only those fields which are common across all companies will be available in a report generated using the "All" option. Any field which is specific to a company or is linked to a parameter or customization will be available only when you generate the report for that specific company.
